Foča-Plužine Forum for Cross-Border Cooperation
Foča-Plužine Forum for Cross-Border Cooperation
Foča-Plužine Forum for Cross-Border Cooperation (hereinafter CBC Forum) was established in 2009, as a result of the GIZ ORF project on Cross-Border Economic Development of Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 2011 two municipalities (Foča and Plužine) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for institutionalizing the CBC Forum.
CBC Forum is consisted of all key stakeholders from public and private sector (including CSOs) from two municipalities, and it has 40 members. Two Mayors co-chair the meetings of the Forum and the meetings are held in Foča and Plužine on rotational basis. CBC Forum was supported with the previous EU-funded CBC project implemented by Foča and Plužine, where the Forum members significantly contributed to successful achievement of the project results. The same modality will be replicated in this project, where the CBC Forum meetings will be used to increase visibility of the project and to discuss project implementation and results with the Forum members. In total, the project will support 4 CBC Forum meetings, out of which two meetings will be organzied in Plužine and two in Foča.
