Restaurant ‘Sočica’ is one of the oldest ethno restaurants in Montenegro, built in the old architectural style and from traditional styles of building materials. The name was given after the wide-known Piva’s and Montenegrin duke, Lazar Sočica, one of the most famous Piva’s figures from the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century.
The capacity of the restaurant is 180 seats, and beside the closed part, it has a terrace / garden on two levels, a seminar room and a large parking space for buses and cars. It was categorized with 4 stars by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
The restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of Piva Lake, and its terrace offers an impressive view of the Piva mountains beauty and a wide water surface of the largest artificial lake in Montenegro – Piva Lake.
Guests of the restaurant can taste and enjoy traditional cuisine, traditional specialties characterizing this region, and try local products that have high ecological value and are among the best in Montenegro.
Restaurant ‘Sočica’ is a significant catering facility not only for Plužine municipality, but also for the entire northern region of Montenegro.
From the Golubovci airport in Podgorica it is about 110 km away, and from the most attractive tourism market – the Montenegrin coast, you arrive in less than two hours drive by the new road Risan – Nikšić. It is about 50 km away from Nikšić, and from the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo, it is possible to arrive by car in less than 3 hours drive.
